I chose The Doghouse Coffee because of their mission in supporting animal rescue. I purchased several bags of the Detroit Pit Crew Brew for an upcoming wellness retreat for animal care workers because this brew aligns so closely with the mission of that retreat and my wellness coaching services to this population.
I was already so excited about finding this company, but upon receiving the product, I have to say that I am even more thrilled and feel even more connected to this company and it's mission. The inclusion of a written thank you and a sample pack of coffee and some company stickers may not seem like a big deal to some, but I personally disagree. It just solidified to me how thoughtful, intentional, and committed this company is. This is why I shop local and small business, and I will definitely be a repeat (and repeat again) customer!
