When we roast coffee, we don’t just think about flavor profiles or origin notes — we think about personalities.
Because, just like dogs, every coffee bean has its own character.
Some beans are bold and energetic — the Labrador Retrievers of the coffee world — while others are mellow, smooth, and loyal, like your favorite sleepy Basset Hound.
And then there’s the wild, adventurous kind — the husky of coffee beans — full of energy, a little unpredictable, but always worth the ride.
So, we name and craft our roasts with that spirit in mind. Every roast has a soul, a bark, and a story to tell.
When we say “Drink Coffee. Save Dogs.”, it’s not just a catchy tagline (though we’re pretty proud of it).
It’s our mission in motion.
A portion of every sale goes straight toward helping dog rescue organizations and no-kill shelters — both locally and beyond.
That means that when you’re sipping your morning cup of our Detroit Pit Crew Roast or grinding up a bag of Salty Dog, you’re actually helping feed, shelter, and transport dogs who need a second chance.
Your caffeine habit? It’s officially doing good in the world.
